Hello Im Rosie, my pronouns are she her/ they them. I have been transitioning for 7 years now and this journey has been a lot of undoing, relearning, rethinking, and the best years of my life. I have avoided big surgeries just for personal reasons but now I feel like I’m ready for and need this step in my life. I am a musical producer, singer-songwriter, and theater kid at heart but my dysphoria has made me feel less invigorated and inspired about my life + love of creation and unable to fully chase my dreams. Along with my own dysphoria I have faced extreme violence due to discrimination based on my gender / race / refusal to be quiet or minimize my self worth based on either. Despite that I’m making this decision to Pursue surgery, and ask for help in doing so , purely in an act of self love. Aligning my physical expression with my identity will not only improvise my lived reality but my artistry and passion. Any contributions will be treasured and much much appreciated.
