Dearest friends and family members,

It is with a heavy heart that we let you know that Lugena Whitfield passed away peacefully on January 12th. For those of you who knew my mother knew she was a genuine friend, sister, mother, grandmother and daughter. She was light that brought a smile to your face. She was the life of the party who always made you laugh. She lived in 3333 Broadway over 30 years, she was friends with just about everyone there. This is a tough pill to swallow because she was an amazing soul.

Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help us during this time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moment. We kindly ask, if you are able to, to donate funds towards the funeral service, as we hope to carry out all of Lugena final wishes.
