Zamana is UC Irvine's premier Bollywood dance team and consists of a group of passionate individuals who wish to showcase their talents and love for dance. UCI Zamana aims to create innovative pieces and push the boundaries of dance on a national level. Our team this year hopes to continue to grow and succeed in our upcoming 2019-20 competition season and give a performance that will truly leave you breathless.  UCI Zamana was one of the initial California HFD teams to have been created with the goal of spreading awareness for South Asian dance and culture. In past years, we have competed in locations such as Berkeley, New York, Canada, San Diego, Philadelphia, and more! All of these competitions are funded out of pocket by each dancer. As college students, we would appreciate any avenues of support to help alleviate some of these costs.  Help support the Zamfam! As a collective, we would love for members of the community to help us achieve our goals this year, and help Zamana bring home first place trophies at all the competitions we are attending this year, thus securing a place at nationals. Any amount, large or small, would go a long way and will be immensely appreciated!
