Hi my name is Melissa Iscaro & I am fundraising for my best friend “pup” Gemma.

I want to thank you for taking the time to read her story.

Gemma is an 8 year beautiful Pit bull, full of snuggles, cuddles, kisses and loves her butt scratchies & belly rubs.

Gemma enjoys car rides, chasing squirrels, pouncing by the pond looking for frogs and barking at the birds. She is a foodie, my gym partner & is a great listener. Ya know, pup stuff!

Gemma’s Story:

Gemma’s mom Dolle was a rescue from Adore-a-bullie in Bronx N.Y. My brothers friend, adopted Dolle not realizing she was pregnant.

On April 21, 2015 the greatest litter was born of 9 beautiful puparoo’s.

I was lucky enough and got to meet Gemma when she was two weeks old (soulmates at first sight)!

Seven weeks later with a big ole’ smile, I brought Gemma to her forever home.

Then comes the time we all hope to never hear.

Last week Gemma was diagnosed with high grade Lymphoma Cancer.

When our vet told us she has 1-5 months to live, my heart shattered. How can she be sick? She is so happy & running around like a young pup! Gemma has gotten me through some of the roughest times in my life and I owe it to her to help her win this fight. Treatment for her cancer is expensive, but 90-95% effective.

I know she can beat this but, we need your help to give her that chance.
