Hey y'all. I'm gemini. I am 32, trans, a parent, and suffocating under the weight of what I guess could now be considered long lost income...

On July 7th, 2023, I was cut from my web development contract without warning. I awoke to my world being flipped upside down as I suddenly had to figure out how to replace $4,000 a month in income.

I drive for Uber and Lyft here in Austin, but even all the hours on the road don't make up for what was lost. Furthermore, I have had to move since losing my job, and I have been unable to catch up with the expenses associated with my move, let alone bring any of my bills current.

I owe over $3,000 on my rent. I owe over $2,000 on my car and they might repossess it any day at this point, which would effectively render me fully jobless.

I've done my best to try to roll with all the punches, but I need help. I can't climb this mountain alone. I need to keep a roof over my head. I need to have a place for my child to rest their head. And if I don't keep this car, I'm going to have far bigger issues to deal with.
