Gemeinsam für eine bessere Zukunft in Champasak

Dear Friends,

I want to share a special project that is very close to my heart and needs your support! We are working on building a new school building for Bhan Nong Mak School in Laos, located in Chanasombun District, Champasak Province.

This small village is home to about 80 families, with 50 to 70 school-aged children. Currently, these children are studying in a dilapidated and unsafe building. The three dedicated teachers do their best under challenging conditions to provide these children with an education.

We want to change this! Led by the esteemed Bhante Tikino (Laung Pee Zäm), we have launched a project to build a new school building with four classrooms and a teacher’s room. The building will be 32 meters long and 8 meters wide, providing a safe and stable learning environment for the children. The estimated construction cost is CHF 20,000.

But that’s not all! To ensure long-term sustainability, we also plan to conduct training sessions for the teachers and villagers so that they can maintain the new building and apply modern teaching methods.
