Gema's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
I am fundraising for the unfortunate and sudden loss of dear Gema.
She was suffering from massive headaches and bleeding from her gums for a couple of days, which we thought could be attributed to a potential gum infection. We made an appointment to see her dentist and regular physician on Tuesday, December 15th. Unfortunately, on Monday the 14th, she unexpectedly fainted and became unconscious. After being rushed to the hospital, a series of blood exams were performed. We learned that she had Blast Crisis Leukemia - one of the deadliest cancers - in its worst stage. On Wednesday afternoon, December 16th, Gema was pronounced brain dead due to severe brain swelling and bleeding. We lost her in three days.
Gema was only 24 years old and an only child, raised by a single mother. She was also my beloved girlfriend for five years. She was the sweetest, most loving, and caring soul you’d ever meet. Due to how quick her death was and the hardships of the COVID pandemic, I write to ask for a donation of any amount to help me and her mother cover the expenses of the funeral.
We are absolutely devastated by this extremely sudden loss, and cannot begin to even quantify how much we will miss Gema's glowing presence in our lives. Any and all contributions, no matter how big or small, are immeasurably appreciated - it all counts, and we cannot thank you enough.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.
Be well and stay safe.
