Gemari's Canaan Dog Fund

It is with great urgency and a lack of available options that we must ask for your help. We have tried to avoid making a request for help because we have always accepted responsibility for our own affairs and our role in preserving the Canaan Dog breed. Our dogs are now at risk of loosing their home and we are forced to do all we can to ensure that does not happen.
I am a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Michael is a U.S. Navy Desert Storm and Desert Shield veteran. After being honorably discharged, we both remained in this region and started our new lives. The Canaan Dog has been a major part of our lives and we have made many of our decisions for the well being of our dogs and this breed. We invested all of our money in this property and have tried to make it an ideal environment where they can thrive and be great ambassadors for their breed.
The past several years have been extremely challenging. Michael was unemployed twice for 6 months after the contracts he was working on had work force reductions. Veterinary expenses, major household/auto expenses, and monthly expenses have quickly exhausted all of our savings, credit, and retirement funds.
Michael has accepted a new job, but the background investigation could take several more months. He is still applying and interviewing for better opportunities while waiting to start his new job.
Time is not on our side and we greatly appreciate any contributions or shares with your networks.
Thank you in advance.
