Divorce emergency
Donation protected
I’m not going to waste my words or your time. I need £9,600 by April 18th or my lawyer walks off my case. (I negotiated an extension last night).
Any money you pay me will be returned upon the final settlement, which has to be done by October.
I’ve spent 50 grand of my own and another 30 already solely on surviving 18 months in the family court and keeping Zac in my life - and staying out of jail.
yeah, that bad.
i’m broke, and nearly broken. I’m bedbound with cellulitis and can’t walk or work.
but with a little help from my friends - all repayable at a kick-arse divorce party - we may yet prevail.
I’ll put a grand behind the bar at that party, and £500 up as a prize for the most insulting reply to this message.
And every quid you send me will help build a stable future for me and Zac.
The lawyers in the case are barely scraping by on just £4,000 a day, plus VAT) so please try to remember their pain, too, while donating. The struggle is real.
So there it is.
My first, and last, begging letter.
Your generosity will be met with immense gratitude.
And if you’re skint, just send a 10p solidarity token and you’re still on the guest list for a party that will never be forgotten, or fully remembered.
Even if don’t raise all the cash needed here, it buys me time to somehow raise the rest.
More than anything, your help is already reminding me how incredibly fortunate I am to have friendships spanning decades and continents. Thank you, comrades.
As for this divorce, truth will out. And on that happy day, there will be justice for me and my lad, zac, 11, who quoted Lennon back at me in my last birthday card:
“Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.”
i’ll also be posting this on WhatsApp, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Apologies for the inevitable repetition and overlap
please share this link with anyone you know that has a spare fiver.
In fact; post the link anywhere and everywhere. I’d laugh so hard if we built a vast pyramid scheme. Let’s do it
:-)
peace, love and pre-nups.
