Gear Bears are Going to Worlds!!

Cherokee Bluff’s Robotics Team, “The Gear Bears”, have qualified to go the State Competition AND we have been told we have a 50/50 of going to Worlds in Houston!!!

The Gear Bears are Rookie Team #9480 in the First Robotics Peachtree District. The Kids won the “Rookie All Star Award” at their 1st competition of the year. The Team had another great showing at their second competition. The Gear Bears are Ranked 27th in the State right now. The Top 50 Teams go to State. THE GEARS BEARS ARE IN!!

The Competition is in 10 Days!?!?! We have to get 15 kids to Macon, GA week after next.  Nationals is the 3rd week of April! 

We have an immediate goal of $2500 to get us to the State Competition and Another $5000 for Nationals.
