Geames Family Home Destroyed by South GA Storms

On 4/13/2020 a major storm swept through our area in Douglas, Georgia in the early morning hours  My son, Daniel "Austin" Geames and His Wife Sabrina Thompson and one of their daughters 3yr old Addilyn Grace Geames, Woke Up to a Tornado Ripping through their Home. Their home was destroyed in a matter of minutes but they made it out alive. Thank you Jesus! I would have never imagined that I would receive a call, while it was happening, saying they were hit by a tornado and hunkering down in their bathroom. The screams and cries will never leave my thoughts. I felt so helpless.

After the storm cleared, I arrived at their home and was completely devastated by the sight of their home, yet completely thankful for the Lord's Protection. I honestly don't know how they survived this. I don't know how long it will be before they are able to rest good at night. The first night after the storm was a sleepless, restless night, to say the least. They were terrified it may happen again.

Austin is a longtime employee at PCC Airfoils in Douglas, Ga. He is a hard worker and the sole provider for their family of 4 and would give the shirt off of his back to help those in need. Their friends and neighbors banded together that very day to help in anyway they could. I was truly amazed at how that community came over and lessened the burden that had been placed on their shoulders. They brought drinks and a trailer to haul off the debris that was in the yard. They didn't quit until it was all picked up. 

But that night, once the adrenaline went away, reality set in. They have no home, no where to call their own, yet the mortgage will still come due regardless of it all.  The insurance had lapsed and long been forgotten by this time, and now they don't know what their future holds.

If you can find it in your hearts to give to this Wonderful Family in their time of need, please do so. They desperately need our help to get back on their feet again and pay for various costs such as: living costs, clean up and replacing their home .
