God is faithful!

I have prayed about a way to help my parents....God has clearly shown me that the financial burden they are carrying because of circumstances beyond their control is a huge need that God's people would love to help with!!!  Let me explain what they have faced (God was and is  SO present)!!! First off in April my mom had a mammogram and  because of 6 suspicious spots she went back for a biopsy. Meanwhile my dad had a cardiologist appointment and while he was there they decided to send him immediately by ambulance to Spectrum as his condition was really bad.  My mom was in the front of the ambulance and as they drove she got a phone call that 4 of the 6 spots were cancer.  Here they are figuring out who needs medical help first.... My mom was told she needed a double masectomy and as they arrived to Spectrum my dad was told he needed 3 bypasses and 1 valve which they did. He was forced to recover quickly as it was urgent for my mom's surgery....but God's healing hand just carried him every step.  Mom had her masectomy and then they wanted her to have 6 chemotherapy treatments.  After 2 treatments she got a UTI and ended up in the hospital with sepsis and nearly lost her life.  We had gathered to say our good byes. But God healed her and  she went home with full time  care by my dad. He had to quit his job to care for her. He loves her so well!! The end of June they got a visit from the State Police with news that my brother Mike (43 years old) and his sweet wife Traci were killed in a plane crash in Alaska .......there was no will so my dad is in charge of his estate....we have never been through this, and  this is a crazy amount of work ....there are so many expenses that have had to come out of their pocket. I just can't hardly believe it as I hear and see all of the details.....Last week I got a call that my mom is unconscious ...come quickly if you want to say good bye. I fly to Michigan thursday. The Lord delivers her not once but twice and she is sitting up the next day talking to me....praise you Lord!!  She had a uti gone bad again. Her immune system is gone because of the chemotherapy, her body can not take it. After my brother passed away my parents decided no more chemo or radiation ( that was my wish from the beginning)...and I was very happy as her body just does not respond well to it. So TODAY we rest in the fact that God is in complete control and HE has our days planned out before the beginning of time.  So many people ask me what can we do to help.......prayers are so very impprtant! The reality of it is though that the expenses keep piling up from circumstances beyond anyones control. I begged for permission for my parents to do this page as they would carry the load and go without BUT I said no God's people care!!! They never want anyone to feel obligated to help and I assured them if God leads people will give. Thank you for caring so much......we are truly so blessed  by each and  person in our lives!
