Argyle Eagle Family,
We have a student and his family experiencing unthinkable circumstances and we could use your help. Brandon Dodd, a senior at Argyle High School is in the ICU at Texas Health Presbyterian Plano. He was admitted on Saturday evening after suffering a head injury from a fall. The CT scan revealed that he has a fracture as well as swelling and bleeding in the brain. He was careflighted from Denton to Plano that night. As you can imagine, his mother wants to be close to her son. COVID-19 has created abnormal hurdles for families to be with their loved ones in the hospital. She has been staying at a hotel room not far from the hospital so she can be close by and receive updates from his doctors.
Brandon has such a big heart and a smile that would light a room up. He is on the varsity tennis team, a member of the choir program and also was in the marching band for 3 years. Brandon is loved by his teammates and friends. He has a twin brother, Christian and they are both looking forward to starting college in the fall.
He and his family need our prayers for healing, comfort and provision. Our community demonstrates over and over again how generous and caring we are. Let's storm the gates of heaven with prayers and come alongside this family with financial support.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
