Help Sherry Rebuild After Devastating Fire

On December 14, 2024, our dear friend and neighbor, Sherry Crawford, lost her house and everything in it to a terrible fire. She is the primary caregiver to her five young grandchildren so that her son and two daughters can work multiple jobs. Having the comfort of a family home made this arrangement so much easier for everyone, but now, they are scrambling. Tragically, the home—a modest Philadelphia row house which has been in Sherry's family for three generations—was uninsured. Thankfully, the family was on an outing when the fire broke out, and no one was hurt.

We are humbly asking our extended network of friends and family to donate to this very worthy cause—less than 10 days out from Christmas—to help Sherry get back on her feet, relocate, and try to rebuild her life. If 1,000 people donated $10, we could reach this goal. But at this time of year when we are thinking about warmth and giving, if you can give a little more, it would go a long way toward helping our friend and we'd reach our goal that much faster.
