Hello, my name is Rose Roosevelt. I am a registered nurse in need of your support for a fellow nurse. My friend Angela Hohn has worked as a surgical nurse most of her life.
Angela did everything she thought would lead her not only to a long life but, a long healthy life- Only to find out that the job she trained for, ultimately compromised her health and life.
Angela has been battling lung cancer caused by Surgical smoke. As Angela was undergoing cancer treatment, she testified in front of Georgia state legislature. In May 2022, The Georgia Legislature signed surgical smoke evacuation into law.
After standing beside so many years for many patients, Angela has no one to help take care of her. She has exhausted her funds trying to pay for the care she so desperately needs. She is in Home Hospice now and needs financial support for a Health aid/nurse as she can no longer bathe or feed herself.
