I have been a member of the Raleigh Police Department for over 15 years. Over that time I have had the opportunity to work alongside selfless men and women who serve their community. As a member of the Raleigh Police Memorial foundation I take part in The Road to Hope bicycle ride with Law Enforcement United. This is a 250 mile bicycle ride over three days from Chesapeake Va to Washington DC. During The Road to Hope police officers from across the country come together to ride in memory of fallen officers. The money raised helps support Concerns of Police Survivors which is dedicated to supporting the family members and coworkers of fallen officers. C.O.P.S. also holds a summer camp for the children of fallen officers. The funds raised also support the Officer Down Memorial Page which help provide a lasting tribute to fallen officers.
My deadline to raise the necessary funds is March 01, 2016. My fundraising goal is $1500.00. The Road To Hope ocurrs during National Police Week in May. Any money raised over the fundraising goal will be donated to the Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation. The RPMF is dedicated to honoring the lives and memories of the Raleigh Police Departments heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the performance of their duty while serving the City of Raleigh.Law Enforcement United/ The Road To Hope
