Support Kelly's Fight Against Ovarian Cancer

Those who are lucky enough to know Kelly Ramirez would describe her as kind, generous, humble, dedicated, and hard working. Whether you met her through her family's store in Detroit where she won your heart by knowing your name, order, and always making time to make a genuine human connection with you, or by her passion project where she pours her small amount of free time into creating wellness backpacks for those in need of shelter, or maybe via her community outreach where she helps to raise funds for local mental health programs via her committee work at the Elk's Club, you know the warmth of her small hands holding yours in comfort, and her gentle spirit always seeing the best in us when we need it the most.

Kelly is devoted to her family in her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and caretaker for her mother who is fighting Alzheimer's Disease, while still managing to prioritize her tribe of close friends and keeping them endlessly entertained. She is integral to her community, and now it is our opportunity to give back.

Kelly has been diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer. Her bills and associated costs will be considerable as she faces surgery and medical visits including many months of chemotherapy, costs for assistive care for her mother, and the hiring of additional help at her family’s store on the days Kelly is not able to work.
