10/20 - 11/11

On 10/18, I was coming back home skating from a party. On my way home, I ran over a crack on the sidewalk which caused me to fall on my face. I pretty much face-planted, causing me to chip my tooth and bruise my nose. The next day, 10/19, I had the meanest headache ever. It literally lasted the whole day. I thought I had a concussion, but the way I was feeling the whole day convinced me it was more than just a concussion. So on 10/20, I went to Kaiser to get a CT scan for my head to see what was going on because this headache was going on until the next day since it happened. Once I got the results, it turns out I had a brain bleed. The blood was coming from an aneurysm that had ruptured. At that point, I was scared for my life. I had no control of the situation and all I had was faith in God to get me through this mess. And sure enough, God was by my side. I went through five brain procedures. Luckily, they didn’t have to cut open my head. They went through my groin for all the procedures. For almost a month, I had about four IVs in my arm, at least two on each side. I thank everybody that messaged me and came to see me during my time in the hospital, especially my mom❤️. Apparently, my aneurysm was developing before I fell off my skateboard. I see this as a blessing because if I never fell, this aneurysm would’ve gotten worse and could’ve caused me to collapse while skating, with friends, or even driving. I’m more appreciative of life and loved ones more than ever. I’m glad I fell off my skateboard because eating shit saved my life.

Thankfully, my medical insurance was able to cover a good portion of my hospital bill. However, I'm kindly asking for support with the small portion of the bill. I appreciate every soul that’s offered help during my stay at the ICU. Thank you so much
