Jamie Mercier

Jamie, known to his family as baby Jamie, was nothing short of a HUGE presence to his family. Although he may look like a "BABY" compared to his 16 year old son Aidan (who is over 6 ft tall), I assure you he was one of the FEW GOOD MEN which were left among us. Jamie was 45 years old and a retired Marine who served his country proudly. After several deployments, he retired from the Marines and he and his wife moved their family to Florida to be closer to his parents. Although Jamie had fought numerous battles for our country, nothing could prepare him or his loved ones for the battle he had to endure over the last month. Jamie, along with his loving wife Angela, and their son Aidan contracted COVID-19 over a month ago. Soon after the diagnosis, Angela was fired from her job and Jamie was taken to the hospital, where he has remained sedated and courageously fighting for his life, until last night when he lost the battle and took his final breath. For those close to Jamie the world feels as if it's at a stand still, but the reality of it is, life kept going on around them and so did their bills. With Jamie's passing, the family lost his military benefits, along with income he received while working. That coupled with the loss of her job and piling bills along with upcoming memorial cost, Angela and Aidan now find themselves in need of all the prayers you can provide and any monetary assistance you can spare.
