Sammy's fight against MIBC

So a lot of you may know him as G'Daddy in the fishing community because of his affiliation with G'Daddy's Bait & Tackle, but I know him as Sammy; my caring, kind-hearted, extremely brave Step-Dad ❤️

Some of you may already know but my parents, having the odds stacked against them these last couple of years, have recently found out that Sammy now has Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer.

This past year, Sammy had been suffering through a variety of symptoms, of which we all hoped would not lead to this type of diagnosis. Unfortunately, for him & my Mom, they now make weekly trips to Duke Cancer Center for chemotherapy treatments and eventually, surgery to remove his bladder and prostate, all of which are necessary to prevent the cancer from spreading.

This will be a very long treatment & recovery process.

Both, being self-employed, and Sammy not being physically able to perform his regular duties at work in construction, have little hope of being able to maintain the business they have owned & operated together for the last 10 years, which is their sole source of income.

While many of you are already praying for them (thank you), I want them to know…In this family, No one fights alone!!
