Dear Friend of Garden Dental Arts,

Last year, thanks to all of you, we were able to raise $3,000 in order to send our staff to an impoverished area in the West Indies. Thanks to all of you, we saved and restored many smiles in an area where dental care is still very scarce.

This year, we are partnering once again with Great Shape Inc in their 1000 Smiles mission. We want to ask you to help us with our mission of giving back to communities with limited access to dental care.

I myself am an immigrant from Jamaica. I have been very lucky in my journey from Jamaica to Brooklyn. I realize that not everyone will have this same kind of luck. That is why I personally want to always find a way to give back.

Most importantly, I recognize the importance of making people smile.

Imagine a life where you had never seen a dentist. What would your life be like? When people don't have access to dental care they don't smile - literally and also emotionally. Lack of dental care affects self esteem, job prospects, and can cause serious health problems. Fixing someone's smile can help give them access to a better life.

In order to fix these smiles, we need you.

There are several costs that need to be met including: insurance, travel expenses, lodging, materials, transporting equipment, etc. This is where you come in. We are in need of your contributions, no matter how great or small. Every little bit helps.
