I am literally crying because I am having to ask friends for money. Chuck has not worked since he shut down his restaurant in October of 2018. July of 2019 he moved to Oregon with his dad and left me behind in California. I can not afford to keep the house in California on my disability income. We have sold this house and we close on July 27th. I bought a house in Illinois that is a couple of hours away from my brother. I just found out that I’m @$2,500 short on closing costs on the new house. If I don’t come up with that money I will end up homeless. I’m also struggling to come up with the $10,000 (or 4 months of my current mortgage) it is going to cost me to move from California to Illinois so any extra would be a huge help. I should let you know that this house I’m buying would be a $475 mortgage each month which I can afford on my disability. I needed a house that I could afford on my own each month. I’m so sorry to be asking you for help during this difficult time and I’m crying because I’m having to make myself vulnerable by doing so. Please, please help if you can. I’m in a desperate situation. Thank you.
