We are heartbroken to share the devastating loss of my cousin, whose life was taken from us far too soon by someone consumed with hatred and evil. This tragedy has shaken our family in ways that words can barely express.

He was a young, bright individual with incredible aspirations and so much promise ahead of him. He was on track to graduate this December with his bachelor’s degree—a milestone he worked so hard for—and was just beginning to build the future he dreamed of. He had his whole life ahead of him, full of potential, purpose, and love.

It is unimaginable that someone he trusted—someone who was supposed to care for him—could take such a beautiful life from this world. The pain of this betrayal and loss is something our family will carry forever.

I cannot fully explain the depth of devastation we are all feeling, especially my aunt and uncle, who are now facing the unimaginable loss of their child. As they navigate this heartbreaking time, I want to do anything I can to support them and ease even a small part of their burden.
