As many of you know Scott Maracle, just had a double transplant surgury.Keith Maracle decided it would be a good idea to start a fundraiser so I set it up on his behalf.

Scott is a lifelong diabetic, and just a year after a successful heart surgery, he came out of surgery on March 11th with a brand new pancreas and kidney. He faces a tough 8 weeks recovering from the surgery, and with his wife, Nancy, also not in great health and Scott being the usual caregiver who ran errands, made meals, and did the cleaning, we need some help.

Scott is active in the community managing the Six Nations Rebels lacrosse team, and has always been there for others when they've needed him. He's been in renal failure for the past three years,going to the hospital three times a week, and we would only reach out on his behalf if he truly needed it. Certainly, he is not one to ask himself.

He's going to need some things not covered by OHIP, like wound care, over-the-counter medications, pressure socks and special bedding, since he'll be spending a lot of time there. He also needs help with extra groceries in the form of ready-to-eat meals and nutritional supplements, as Chef Scott is off sick. We are also hoping to get a cleaning service to come in once a week to help out with some of the chores over the next couple of months. We think that about $125 a day will cover it, so we are hoping to raise $7000. Can you help?
