As some of you are aware I was originally diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 2023, and was going through my final round of chemo in the fall of 2024 when I lost my job and learned the cancer had returned. To date, finding work that allows me to continue treatment has been a non-starter. I hoped to avoid setting up a GoFundMe site to help with medical expenses in 2025. Unfortunately, lack of work for the foreseeable future while going through treatment has made me reconsider.

As of January 1, 2025, my annual medical deductible reset. Last year, adding in the cost of supplements, I paid roughly $17,000 out of pocket for my part of my medical care which totaled somewhere in the neighborhood of $500k. With the turn of the new year, I would welcome and am grateful for what you feel you can give in support of the cost of my 2025 out-of-pocket medical expenses.
