We Still Believe

I never in a million years thought that our family would facing such a challenging situation. Some of you may or may not know that my wife Cristina was diagnosed with brain cancer 2 years ago. We made the decision at that time to have the tumor removed through surgery. The surgeon was able to remove most of the tumor, but because of its placement some of the tumor had to be left behind to insure no further brain damage. Last week we had her fallow up appointment with the surgeon. Unfortunately, Cristina's tumor has grown back. The surgeon said that we needed to make a decision on what treatments we would like to do for her moving forward. (His) options were surgery, chemo, and or radiation. After much prayer, research, and thought, we are choosing to go with a more natural less invasive form of treatment through a Dr. that God showed us her in Texas. With that being said, we are hoping to have a consultation with Dr. Stanislaw Burzinsky here in Houston TX this week hopefully to start Cristina's treatments. Dr, Stanislaw and his team have been globally recognized for their groundbreaking research and methods in the cure for cancer. Although we are super excited about this opportunity, the treatments are not cheap, and they do not take insurance. We are humbly reaching out to all of you as family and friends to consider helping us with these growing costs. As her husband, I told her that her life is worth more than anything in the world to me. I told her through the tears that my mission is to make sure that she's at our 12- and 14-year-olds future weddings, and for her to hold our future grandbabies.
