Hello, my name is Lisa. I have stage 4 cervical cancer. I have been battling cancer for 2 years now, and it is coming to an end. Doctors say my tumors are growing even with treatment. They have spoken to me regarding clinical trials. But you know what? I was a nurse for a very long time, and I know how that goes. I attended to everyone else, and when it came to myself, it was a little too late. You never think about life hitting close to home. I have come to realize that the end of life is getting closer than I would like for it to come. My life hit many other lives being a nurse; it made me happy. I truly enjoyed my profession. The only regret I have is not having some sort of insurance for burial costs, which brings me to the reason why I am here asking for your help. So, I am hoping my story has hit your heart.
