Ben (Benny) Rodriguez was diagnosed with aggressive pancreatic cancer (stage 4) in July 2023.

Being the fighter he is, he and his wife Stacy prepared to battle the cancer as quickly and aggressively as possible. Although they were aware that the treatment, no matter how aggressive, would not cure his cancer, they were praying it would buy him more time with his family, including his adult children Julian, Angelica, and Rudy, as well as his baby girl Emma, who is just 7 years old.

Unfortunately, after several treatments and complications, they were told that the cancer was spreading aggressively. After discussing it with their medical team, family, and much prayer, Benny has decided to spend the short time he has left at home under Hospice Care.

After Benny’s devastating diagnosis and initial treatment, Stacy has chosen to stay home with Benny to manage his care and provide the much-needed love and support that he and Emma need during this time.

Despite the pain and difficulty in his last days with his family, Benny’s concerns are for his family’s future , and he is very concerned with the financial burden that will be left for Stacy after his passing.
