Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations.

Jamie Moore of Andrews, mother of Jaxon Moore could really use our help right now. Over the last few years she has been traveling to and from West Texas Cancer Center in Odessa to receive IV Iron infusions. She began noticing signs of bruising easily, weakness, and extreme exhaustion. Jamie was being told that she was extremely anemic, and had low blood pressure. After extensive testing they finally found the cause of her anemia. Jamie decided to get a second opinion on March 1, 2023. This is the day she’ll never forget, as she was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma. A mass was located on here right kidney. After being referred to a surgeon in Lubbock, she was told she needed surgery as soon as possible. During this time she was a stay at home mom, and had recently began caring for a special needs teenager who had been abandoned. She begged to postpone the surgery because her special needs teenager would be graduating May 19, 2023, and she wanted to be there. He has no one else and this was a one in a lifetime moment. So she was allowed to push the surgery to May 26th. The Family was told the surgery would be 4 hours, that unfortunately turned into 10 hours. During surgery her liver was nicked and she would need to monitored for bleeding as her blood pressure and heart rate dropped severely low. After 4 hard days in the hospital Jamie was released. No other treatment was needed after a one week checkup with the Doctors. Fast forward to September 12, 2023 after continued pain and no relief she went in for a follow up CT scan September 20, 2023. She received reports back that her cancer had come back and more aggressive. The same day her wife lost her job along with all medical insurance. Jamie and her family could use our help with prayers, travel and lodging expenses as well with medical expenses. Please keep her children and family in your prayers and if you see her kiddos, just give them a little extra love, as they both are struggling to understand.
