Hi everyone,

 

This is my dad, Ricardo. My dad was about to celebrate his 70th birthday in October and walk me down the aisle in November. He was diagnosed with pneumonia in July and began to rapidly decline, eventually being admitted into the hospital where he was taken to the CCU in critical condition. The organizing pneumonia developed an infection in his body and was hooked to a ventilator for two days but his lungs where so damaged it did not work. The doctor’s suggested we intubate him to see if he will get better. Unfortunately my dad’s organs started failing and his body could not fight anymore. My dad passed away on September 5th.

  

Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 to help cover the medical bills and funeral arrangements.

Este es mi papá, Ricardo. Mi papá estaba a punto de celebrar su 70 cumpleaños en octubre y acompañarme al altar en noviembre. Le diagnosticaron neumonía en julio y comenzó a declinar rápidamente, finalmente fue ingresado en el hospital donde fue trasladado a la CCU en estado crítico. La neumonía organizada desarrolló una infección en su cuerpo y estuvo conectado a un ventilador durante dos días, pero sus pulmones estaban tan dañados que no funcionaron. El médico sugirió que lo entubemos para ver si mejora. Desafortunadamente, los órganos de mi papá comenzaron a fallar y su cuerpo ya no pudo luchar. Mi papá falleció el 5 de septiembre.

Nuestro objetivo es recaudar al menos $10,000 para ayudar a cubrir las facturas médicas y los arreglos funerarios.
