A few years ago, I started a MakerSpace at my high school that serves mostly students of color from low income communities here in San Francisco. My students love our Maker Class and have created some awesome projects over the years, including a fully functional skee ball machine that was a huge hit at the Bay Area MakerFaire last May.

We're trying to expand the opportunities our students have to build unique and incredibly beautiful projects that they have dreamed up in their imagination.

This is a new laser cutter that is entering the market at a pre-order price of $2500 (+shipping and + gofundme fees). We are raising the money to cover the costs of the cutter so we can make some awesome new projects!
