Support David's Fight Against Cancer

As you may know, my brother David was diagnosed recently with Stage 3a Rectal Cancer at the age of 38. We’ve had friends from all over ask for ways to help as he begins the long and intensive process of surgery, treatment, and recovery. The fundraiser is to help cover the significant medical expenses associated with his care.

David first began experiencing symptoms in the summer of 2024. In December, he had his gallbladder removed, but his symptoms worsened in January 2025. He met with a GI specialist and underwent a colonoscopy in March, which ultimately led to a diagnosis of rectal cancer in April. He is scheduled to meet with an oncologist and begin chemotherapy treatment on Friday, April 18, 2025.

Use of Funds:

All donations will go directly toward David’s medical expenses, including:

• Emergency room visit

• Gallbladder surgery

• GI specialist appointments

• Colonoscopy

• Colorectal surgeon evaluation

• Oncologist appointments

• Genetic testing

• Biweekly chemotherapy treatments

• Chemotherapy medications

• Potential radiation therapy

• Two upcoming colorectal surgeries

• MRI and CT scans

• Medical supplies related to chemotherapy
