Help Bring My Uncle Home.

Hello, my name is Kamilla Ponce and I'm from Los Angeles. I'm raising funds to bring my uncle home.

On Friday, June 6th, at approximately 9:30 A.M., thirty minutes after my uncle arrived at work, he was detained by ICE. All that was on his mind that morning was finishing his last day at the job. He already had a gut feeling not to show up, so he arrived late, but it wasn't enough to save him.

The owner of Ambiance Apparel was a man who had previous scandals with taxes and the IRS; he had spent a year in jail in 2021 and was involved in money laundering. The FBI was there for him, but he didn't care about his workers enough to warn them not to show up to work for a week or so. Therefore, many people were unjustly detained and forcefully taken away, one of whom was my uncle.
