Hi I’m Zach, I’ve been living openly as a trans man for 3 years but have known how I felt about my own body from a young age. I never felt right in how I was made to present. I have struggled my whole life with knowing where I fit and who I am. As a teenager it became apparent to me that there was aspects of myself I wanted to change, but without the education or understanding of trans identities I was very lost. This resulted in me engaging in self harm with areas I wanted to change like my chest. I have since stopped now I am out and proud with who i am, and with a community and family and fiancee who support me greatly. I’m not from a wealthy background and therefore this type of surgery is not financially as equitable as it is for some people, this go fund me will only equate to some of the cost and the rest will be paid from pocket. Even a few quid would help and I’d greatly appreciate it if you could help me see who I want to in the mirror and who I dream of being.
