Help for Bob

Donation protected
You all know that I hate asking for help & I really don't know the best way to do this so l'll dive right in.

On Sunday 11/19, Bob wasn't feeling well and went to a local urgent care in Glens Falls, NY with cough, fever & aches. They transferred him to Saratoga Hospital with suspected pneumonia. He arrived with acute shortness of breath and by the end of the day he was in the ICU having suffered a massive heart attack.

After a medical procedure he was moved to Albany Medical Center for more medical intervention and subsequently airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla NY where he remains in the CTICU.

As most people know, Bob is a truck driver, so if he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid. He’s based out of upstate NY and his driving routes take him all over New England, which means that the urgent care he went to and his subsequent hospital stays have all been in New York which is over 200 miles from our home in Easton, MD. I was able to be with him for six days over Thanksgiving, but had to return home to Dhugal (our dog) and to continue working to keep the lights on.

This is where I ask for help. Everyone knows how hospital bills go and we just don't have that kind of savings. Nor do we have the savings to cover for Bob being out of work. We do have some medical insurance but we don't have the co-pay for this kind of disaster, and with no paycheck coming from him we'll now be responsible for his insurance premiums. I know it's the holidays, and everyone is short on cash, but if you have even $1 to send, that's a help to keep us on our feet. Thanks so much for your attention and help!
