My brother Gregory Tuck AKA Quincy Tuck passed away on May 9, 2018. My brother was diagnosed with liver failure and as a result, was laid off by his employer. Quincy had a life insurance policy. However, because he had recently been laid off his family is unable to collect on the life insurance policy. My brother was 39 years of age.
I'm asking for help, as I often do, from my community. Please help me provide a funeral service and cremation of my brother. He meant the world to me.
One of the painful things about all of this---is I only recently depleted my savings account. My daughter's prom was this week; I had to pay $1000 deductible because someone hit my car and drove off. And I loaned someone $500 for a family emergency. I also had to pay $885.00 to have my brother's body transferred to an affordable funeral home. If he had passed last month--I would've had the money for his services. I know that sounds terrible--but its true.
My brother was an amazing man. Everyone knew him for fixing cars and for his kind heart and demeanor.
Quincy and I grew up together in and out foster homes. We both were awarded to the state. Thus, we don't have family. It was always, just us. Him and I. Experiencing and fingering out the world together. He had my back, always. And I had his.
He loved my children like they were his. Quincy was the only man I knew growing up and as an adult that was consistent in my life, who loved me without conditions.
Please help me, Help me get closure. Help me provide a space in which his friends and family can mourn and grieve together. Help me cremate my brother.
Funeral services will be provided by Foster Funeral & Cremation Services.
The funeral is scheduled for May 22, 2018, at 5:30 PM at Fountain of Life located at 633 W Badger Rd, Madison, WI 53713.
Re-Pass will follow at VFW located 133 E Lakeside St, Madison, WI 53715.
