Brian's Cancer Fight

Hi,

 

My name is Sara and my family and I have started this fundraiser for my 32 year old cousin Brian who is currently fighting a rare, aggressive form of non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and undergoing chemotherapy as an in-patient at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. This diagnosis has come quickly and his life has been turned upside down in a matter of weeks.

 

For those of you that don't have the pleasure of knowing Brian, he is a salt of the earth kind of guy. He is always willing to help anyone who needs it, whether it is giving someone a place to stay, giving advice on what car to purchase or where to go on vacation, he is your guy!

 

The funds raised from this will help Brian be able to focus on his fight without having to worry about his bills and downtown Toronto rent. These funds will also help his parents (my aunt and uncle) be able to travel back and forth from Windsor to Toronto to be by Brian's side.

 

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the hospital is only allowing 2 approved visitors to be on the visitation list so any friends and family that are in Toronto are not able to go and see him and help with that. They are currently paying all travel, lodging and food expenses out of pocket.

 

Any additional funds raised that are not needed for medical expenses or bills will be donated back to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
