Recording a new CD!

Dear friends,

 

I am making a new album. Recording an album these days takes a community and I need your help!
 
As most of you know, in the last few years I have been the musical director of Chochmat Halev (wisdom of the heart), a center for Jewish spirituality in Berkeley. During this time I have been inspired to compose and arrange many Hebrew songs and prayers for the community, and now it's time to record them so that they can be shared more widely.

 

For me these songs and prayers have been a refuge, a simple and deep way to connect to the heart. Songs like "My Home is a Home of Prayer," "Love upon Love," "Sending you Light/El Na Refa Na La" have all become stepping stones of love, kindness and hope, especially in Covid times. I am gratified to know that these songs have brought joy, comfort, and a feeling of togetherness to many people and communities around the globe.

 

 I am currently in the production phase of the CD and am collaborating and recording with Melanie DeMore, Julie Batz, Jhos Singer,
Issa Nissim,, Kiki Lipsett, Dan Cantrell, Julie Wolf, Shira Kammen,  and the amazing musical producer don benedictson. 

Professional recordings are extremely expensive, I appreciate any donation, large or small.
