COP30 · Belém, Brazil · 10–21 Nov 2025 is a make-or-break moment for the next decade of action. Your gift puts young leaders at the table, not just in the audience.
We’re youth-led and action-oriented, turning lived experience into policy influence through four streams:
- Train & Equip — skills in international climate negotiations, climate finance, just transition, meaningful youth engagement, policy & advocacy strategy, and more;
- Synthesize & Propose — 1 Youth Climate Policy Brief and 1 Youth Lusophone Charter delivered to decision-makers.
- Mobilize Communities — justice-centered outreach that builds public backing before COP30.
- Show Up & Lead at COP30 — a prepared youth delegation engaging negotiators, co-hosting side events, and securing concrete commitments.
2025 Deliverables
- 5 youth delegates accredited for COP30, ready for meetings, side events, and media advocacy.
- 1 Youth Climate Policy Brief and 1 Lusophone Youth Charter formally shared with govern, ministries and UNFCCC stakeholders.
- 150+ youth trained via the Climate Diplomacy Academy and pre-COP sessions.
- Community activation - “Paving the Way to COP30”: 1 event, 5+ campaigns, and media moments that connect local voices to global negotiations.
- 8+ advocacy actions at COP30 (debriefings, side events, op-eds/media stories, workshops).
- Ripple effects: each delegate seeds action in their home community after COP.
Transparent budget (goal: €10,000)
- Local outreach & pre-COP (12.5%) — €1,250
- Delegation participation (12.5%) — €1,250 (accreditation, materials, coordination)
- Flights & local travel (30%) — €3,000 (need-based support for delegates)
- Accommodation & meals (45%) — €4,500 (safe lodging and meals for two weeks)
Accountability - We follow UR’s Financial Accountability & Transparency practices with clear line items, receipts, and outcome reporting to donors.
