Please help us lay my brother to rest
Please help us give Jerry the memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
Sadly, I’m setting up this go fund me to raise money for a memorial and burial because of the sudden loss of my brother.
No one is ever prepared mentally, physically, or financially
for the loss of a loved one. We are trying to fulfill Jerry’s final wishes as best as we possibly can. We are absolutely devastated by Jerry’s passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the funeral expenses. Please consider donating. If you knew my brother, then you will be nodding your head as you read this short life story. Jerry was a son, brother, father, uncle, and friend. Jerry stood strong to his faith. Whether he was close to you or just met you he was the type of man that would make you laugh if sad,
calm you if angry, feed you if hungry, cover you with a blanket if cold, give advice if asked, or lend an ear if you needed to vent. Though he was not rich by any means, if you needed a $1 and that was all he had, it became your $1. Jerry took his friendships seriously whether you seen eye to eye or not. My brother had a lot of friends and acquaintances, but there are some that were like brothers ( cousins included ) to him and he cherished them. He loved hard and you felt his love even if you had had an argument or disagreement. He was not one to hold a grudge for long if at all. He believed in honesty and second ( third / forth ) chances because everyone makes mistakes. Family was HUGE for him. My brother was my best friend from the time we were kids until he took his last breath.
I could go on and on, but my platform won’t allow me. My brother was flawed as all of us humans are, but he tried to be a good Christian and spread the word of God to anyone who would listen.
Our final goodbyes will be at Newcomers funeral home. I will have to update everyone with the day and time hopefully within a few days.
