GB Para Ice Hockey - Women's World Challenge
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Louise—though many of you may know me as Lou.
Since 2021, I've had the privilege of volunteering as a coach for Great Britain's women's para ice hockey team. This incredible sport is essentially the Paralympic version of ice hockey, where athletes play using sledges instead of skates. It's been an inspiring journey, and last year, I had the honor of joining the team as a goalie coach at the World Challenge event in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. This October, I’m excited to be part of the team again, this time as the assistant coach, as we head to Skien, Norway for another World Challenge tournament.
However, as the sport is still relatively small and underfunded, all athletes and staff, including myself, must cover our own expenses for the trip. I’m aiming to raise £500 to help cover the costs of tournament entry fees, flights, and accommodation.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help me continue supporting these amazing athletes on their journey. Thank you so much for your support!
