We are the GB Cable Wakeboard Squad, and we are looking to raise money for our athletes to compete internationally for our country.
Here's some facts about our squad!
- We have a squad made up of men and women aged 11-60!
- Each athlete competes individually, but our points together as a team can win us a Team medal
- At the last European Championships, our Team secured a bronze medal
- At the World Championships this year (2022) we had 4 riders secure gold medals
- Many other countries get funding from their country to compete, however, for GB our funding is limited
- We are looking for team funding to fairly support all of our riders. Some squad members cannot afford to compete internationally whereas others can self-fund. We encourage you to donate into the 'funding pot', however, if you would like to make a donation for a specific rider, please contact us.
If you are interested in funding a larger amount, we would love to hear from you in regards to sponsoring our events. We are currently looking for sponsors for team training, squad kit and competition fees.
⭐️ All donations will receive a signed photograph of our squad with a thank you letter.
