GB Age Group Event Turkey

To friends, family and clients: as most of you are aware I have qualified to represent GB at an Age group event in Turkey next September (2025) for triathlon. Something I started for fun has got serious real quick!

Sadly as this is an age group event (hosted for people who have day to day jobs and haven’t gone pro), there is no funding for athletes to get to the events and therefore we all have to acquire sponsorships/ financial support by ourselves. In an ideal world, I’d love to fund myself to be able to attend the event. However after some calculation, it looks like it’s going to cost me near to £1,000 to get everything required (in terms of kit, insurance etc) and actually get to the event. Therefore I have set up this go fund me page in hope that you can contribute funds to help me go out and fulfil my dreams to wear GB kit!!

To give you an idea of what the money will be used for, I’ve written down current estimates of things I’ll need for the trip below. Any little help with be hugely appreciated and I’ll be so very grateful.

Entry: £220-240

KIT: £107-112

Bike shipping, box, insurance: £300

Bike fitting: £189

Tri suit: £135

Flights: £111 (currently)

Accommodation: £400-£600

Triathlon travel insurance: £30

Any money left over will be used for Bike parts, trainers and the most valuable thing - Nutrition!!

Again I just want to emphasise that I will be beyond grateful for any donations and I am so excited to have another event to work for!
