Hello friends and thank you for taking the time to learn about our clinic.

My name is Azra Skrijelj Mann and I am one of the founders of the Mannkind and Isa Medical Clinic in Gaza.

This initiative is a collaboration between me and my team member, Ida Rabbani, along with Dr. Chanjiv Mehta, a plastic surgeon who has worked with Doctors Without Borders. Dr. Mehta connected us with Dr. Azal Ali, a pediatrician based in the UK. Dr. Ali has been working with healthcare workers in Gaza for some time and proposed the funding of a clinic and connected us with the physicians in Gaza that will operate the facility. Dr. Ali has been instrumental in developing the connections needed for the clinic to operate. Without her, we would not be able to transfer the supplies purchased into Gaza and we are honored to be collaborating with her.

We are partnering with a team of highly qualified physicians in Gaza: Dr. Muhamed El Harazen, a General Practitioner (GP, family doctor), Dr. Reem Shehab is a trainee Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OBGYN). Dr. Abed Shehab is a pediatrician. Each of these physicians has been personally vetted for their participation in this initiative.

This clinic is designed to operate as a Primary and Transitional care center. We focus on providing care to women and children.

For months we have been looking for a way to help the people of Gaza, to provide some sort of relief to the incredible hardships they are facing. Direct funding of this clinic means we do not need to work though NGOs or other charities that will take a percentage of the money raised. 100% of funds raised goes directly to the operation of this clinic.

This is our way in, a way that will pave the path for a positive transformative trajectory for many lives in Gaza. The medical clinic will help the women and children and provide the dire aid they need. This is it, guys!!!

So far, our team has been successful in getting medical supplies, tents, and food for the people in Gaza. The first supply of assistance was provided on May 18, 2024 by providing 4500L of water and food to the camp. On May 25, 2024, the Mannkind and Isa community Clinic officially opened. We hope to be able to fund this clinic for as long as is needed. This is where we can step in and make a difference.
