Gaza Survivor’s Path to United Kingdom

Donation protected
My wife, My two daughters — Malak and Habiba — and I have just escaped the unimaginable. We fled Gaza during a relentless campaign of mass destruction, surviving what felt like certain death. In those harrowing days, we lost everything we owned: our home, our belongings, the life we once knew.

Now, we find ourselves in Egypt — alive, but with no source of income, and no clear path forward. Every day is a reminder of what we endured, and of the resilience it takes to start over with nothing but each other.
We carry with us the pain of what was lost, and the hope that one day, our children will know a life free from fear.

Habiba was born during the first week of the genocide and is now 1 years and a half old. She was born at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza before it was completely destroyed. Unfortunately, she was born with health issues, and we have not been able to treat her until now.

Malak is now 6 years old. She had just started her first year in kindergarten, but sadly, she was only able to attend for a month before the genocide began. She lost her kindergarten, her education, and the life she had started with her friends at school. Unfortunately, she hasn’t lived her life like other children. She has lived as a survivor of genocide and famine. She witnessed her home being destroyed and narrowly escaped with her life, and she saw many massacres happen near her.

After great suffering, we left the Gaza Strip and headed to Egypt after a long wait. Unfortunately, we arrived with nothing. Our money is gone, our work is gone, and we are back to square one. We have nothing to continue our lives, achieve anything, or build a suitable future for my children.

Malak and Habiba deserve a better life. What they have witnessed is incredibly difficult and unbearable for anyone. I must create a beautiful and better future for them. I must give them the life they deserve. We have to continue the journey, we must succeed, and Malak and Habiba’s lives must be better than what they have experienced so far.

I cannot do anything on my own, which is why I took this step to tell you, my friends, that I need your help. I must leave Egypt because, unfortunately, things here are getting worse. There is no work, no source of income, no home, and we cannot provide a dignified life.

I will apply for immigration to reach a country that respects human dignity, for the sake of my children, so I can build a bright and suitable future for them, where they can learn, live their childhood, and heal both mentally and physically. To take these steps, I need to secure a sum of money to sustain myself here in Egypt for a short period and to complete the necessary procedures and paperwork to create a full immigration file. Additionally, I need to cover the travel expenses and ensure my children reach their next destination.

After a long and challenging journey, I have finally been accepted to pursue a Master’s degree in Economics and Engineering Management at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. This achievement marks a significant step toward my academic and professional goals, and it is the result of years of perseverance and hard work.
However, while I have been granted both admission and a partial scholarship, these cover only half of the total expenses required. I am reaching out for your support to help me bridge the gap, so that I can seize this life-changing opportunity and contribute meaningfully to my field and community.

Every dollar you give will go directly toward my tuition fees and travel expenses to the United Kingdom.

Your contribution is not just financial support — it is an investment in my education, my future, and my ability to give back to the world.
