As the blessed month of Ramadan begins, our brothers and sisters in Gaza are suffering from a severe humanitarian crisis. The war has left nothing behind but trauma and displaced families. Families with young children and old have no food or water, and yet these remarkable people still persist and fast during Ramadan! Oh people of this planet, a caller beckons you to an opportunity of great good! The people chosen by God to go through this test require your aid! The opportunity that will vouch for you on the Day of Judgement, testifying before your Lord that you did support these people in their most dire moment of need is here! Those with small means or large can all contribute and help feed these people who are most deserving. This is our own test, will we heed and rise to the occasion? Truly as a community we can accomplish this task together!

Feeding one family costs just $15 USD a day, and there are 200 families in the community who are in urgent need of assistance. The current goal is to feed them for one week. This is where the goal number comes from (converted to CAD from USD). The ask from you all is simple: try and support a single family for a month, if that is too much, a week, if that is too much, a day, and if that is too much, spread the word and find someone who can! Do not let this month pass without helping these people be taken care of. Let's make this Ramadan count, let's donate in numbers that far surpass attendances of protests and show that we truly will put our money where our mouth is!
