My name is Ebtisam Abulkaliq, I am from Middle East and I currently live in Canada ,and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend from first grade, Lama Abo Suliman, who is currently in Gaza facing the threat of death at any moment. This is her urgent message:

“I am Lama Abo Suliman, a married mother of two children. I was once a successful physiotherapist, but now I find myself living amidst the horrors of war, bombardment, hunger, and disease in Gaza. We have lost our home in the current conflict, as depicted in the images. Now, we live in a camp, clinging to hope amidst despair.

Please, we implore you, help us leave Gaza and spare us from the looming specter of death that hangs over us with every passing moment. Your assistance could mean the difference between life and death for my family. Help us to save my kids’ future.We are still waiting for the crossing to open so we can travel and protect our children and ourselves from the bombing, fear, hunger, and death.

Expenses breakdown:

• Exiting Gaza via the Rafah crossing in Egypt incurs a fee of $5,000 per adult. Therefore, the travel cost for my spouse and me amounts to $10,000. Additionally, each child’s travel expense is $2,500, totaling $5,000 for both my children.

• We will also need $10,000 to secure accommodations, food, and medical treatments.
