Hello, my name is Jasmine Montgomery, the granddaughter of Gayle Montgomery. I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my grandmother, Gayle, or as I lovingly called her, Grandma Beep Beep.

My grandma was one of the strongest, most intelligent, and most caring people I have ever known. She had a way of making people feel seen and cared for, whether in person or through the online communities she was a part of. Even when her body grew weaker, her heart never did.

Before COVID, she would take me out to dinner every other week. Those moments meant everything to me. After she could no longer walk, she still found ways to show up for me, often sending me dinner so that in some small way, she could still be there with me. That was who she was. She never let her limitations stop her from loving others.

After COVID, her physical and mental health slowly declined. In her final days, she was surrounded by loved ones. Though she experienced multiple organ failures and was unresponsive in her last moments, her presence was still felt. She left this world having given so much of herself to others.

I am asking anyone who is able to help my family and me give her the service she truly deserves. We want to honor the woman who spent her life giving, loving, and supporting others. Unfortunately, we cannot do this without help.
