Our mother, Gayle Berry, was a registered nurse with a passion for caring for others. She spent several years as an ER nurse before starting to work in hospice care.  She was diagnosed with cancer in June of 2019 and  on Feb. 14, 2021 she spread her wings that had been kept under her scrubs for many years. 

She was always willing and ready to help anyone and this scholarship is a way her legacy can continue. The money raised will help a local nursing student and honor the most amazing nurse we’ve ever known.
