Gaye McCormick Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer

I have had the privilege of knowing this amazing, kind-hearted, caring and compassionate lady for over 20 years. Gaye is battling aggressive pancreatic cancer which is now also in her lungs and back and she is continuing chemotherapy. As she would say, this has been an emotional, crazy rollercoaster ride. Gaye, who is very dear to me, is trying to keep positive. She has been a volunteer of over 10 years collecting and distributing food parcels to people in need. For the last two and a half years, Gaye has been a full-time carer for three of her wonderful grandchildren. She was a hairdresser for the elderly and support worker for the people with special needs. We are now hopeful that our wonderful community will help this gracious woman and provide some assistance. Gaye urgently needs a reliable, automatic vehicle as she has not had a vehicle for the last three months due to it being unroadworthy. She continues to require transport to all of her appointments and spend quality time with her family without relying on others to transport her. I would love to see her have her independence back and living the rest of her life to the fullest.
